Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and password credentials on our behalf.
• Usage data. Saved prompts, collections, customizations, and history you create while using the Service are stored in our database (Supabase).
• Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. We receive limited information such as the last four digits, card brand, billing country, and subscription status.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request paths for security and operational purposes.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Service providers

We share information with a small number of vendors who help us run PromptExec. Each of these vendors is contractually required to protect your data:

• Clerk— user authentication and account management.
• Supabase— database and storage for saved prompts and account metadata.
• Stripe— payment processing and subscription management.
• Netlify— website hosting and delivery.
• Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar— only when you explicitly use tools that send a prompt to a third-party AI model.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies only where they are necessary to operate the Service — primarily to keep you signed in and to maintain your session securely. We do not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest with our database provider, and role-based access controls. No internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account dashboard or by emailing us.

California residents.Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” of personal information. PromptExec does not sell personal information. To make a request, email info@usepromptexec.com.

8. Children's privacy

PromptExec is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice.
